On the 31.01.2014 the time has inevitably come to say goodbye to our Erasmus guests. Over the past few months, we’ve grown very fond of them so it was very hard to part our ways. Moreover, the final party had to be absolutely outstanding – something that they would remember for the rest of their lives! Therefore the coordinators: Justyna Kowalska & Kasia Górska had organised a very special event in „Klub pod Jaszczurami” that would go down in history as one of the best parties organised by ESN UEK!

Hello Guys

I would like to tell you something about my home city Stuttgart and the study life in Stuttgart. In Stuttgart, the beautiful city in the south western part of Germany, are living around 600000 inhabitants. Stuttgart is the capital of the state Baden-Württemberg. There are around 40000 students living in Stuttgart distributed in several different Universities.

The latitude and longitude for Romania are 45.7909° N, 24.7731° E. Now you know where we are, right 🙂 ?

In other words, Romania in the south-east part of the Central Europe with opening to the Black Sea. We have a population of 21,3 millions inhabitants, 265 cities in which we have one administrative capital and one cultural capital.

Rijeka is the name of the third largest city (behind Zagreb and Split) in the beautiful country of Croatia, located on the north coast of the Adriatic Sea. It has a population close to 140,000 and it’s the main seaport of the newest EU member (as of July 1st 2013).

Erasmus Gala!

Cracow, the 7^th of December 2013. On a first glance it would seem like any other day, the only difference being the falling snow. However, nothing could be more misleading! This is a very special evening, when the members of ESN UEK and International Programmes Office, Alumni, the honorary members, Erasmus students and fellow members from organizations such as AIESEC or ESN UJ, had a chance to celebrate the 10^th year anniversary of ESN UEK section as well as the 15^th year anniversary of Erasmus Programmes in Poland. In order to mark such an important day, the board members of ESN UEK, with the help of many current and former members of the section, decided to organize a magnificent gala, which honestly did not differ too much from an Oscar Ceremony 🙂

Kraków, 7 grudnia 2013, sobotni wieczór. Wydawać by się mogło, że dzień jak każdy inny a jedyną odmianą – padający śnieg. Jednak nic bardziej mylnego! To właśnie w ten wyjątkowy wieczór członkowie ESN UEK wraz pracownikami Działu Programów Zagranicznych, Alumnami, Członkami Honorowymi, Erasmusami oraz zaprzyjaźnionymi osobami m.in. z AIESEC czy ESN UJ świętowali jubileusz 10-lecia istnienia sekcji a zarazem 15-lecia programu Erasmus w Polsce. Aby uczcić to ważne wydarzenie Zarząd ESN UEK z pomocą wielu obecnych jak i byłych członków sekcji zorganizował wspaniałą Galę, niewiele odbiegającą od m.in. gali rozdania Oskarów 🙂

Welcome to Vaasa – Finland’s sunniest city!

Vaasa is located on the western coast, 420 km from the capital Helsinki. With 65.000 inhabitants and of those 12.000 students, makes Vaasa the one of the best study cities in the country. Of the inhabitants there is 71 % Finnish speaking and 23 % Swedish speaking people. For you guys who have never heard that Finland has two main languages (Finnish 90% and 5.4% Swedish), I will now inform you, we who speak Swedish we are not from Sweden; we are just as much Finnish as the people who speak Finnish! And just to base this fact on something real, there is a city not far from Vaasa named Korsnäs, which is the most Swedish speaking region in the whole world! (Yes! more Swedish than any place in Sweden, I find that quite cool! :))
