Before I decided where to go for Erasmus, I had a list in my head about some things I would like to do and some places I would like to go to during my time. I wanted to enjoy sunshine, rain, and definitely the beautiful snow. I wanted to meet a lot of kind, strange, funny and crazy people from all over the world and have a lot of fun with them. To go to lots of parties, to walk for hours, to discover special places. I wanted to at least TRY to learn a new language. I wanted to laugh so much about the crazy Erasmus stories happening to us… Finally, after quite a short time I’ve found the city I thought would be perfect to fulfill all these wishes: Cracow. Now I’m here and all I can say is I don’t regret picking this city at all. Because Cracow is beautiful, magical, funny, really something special. It is just the place to be on Erasmus.

Although I was expecting a less developed country, I have to mention that Krakow was indeed an incredible surprise. The youth, beauty and vivacity of this cultural city are just amazing. I should highlight Krakow’s main square, for me one of the best places I have ever been. Not only for the huge amount of nightlife clubs that cover all the spot, but also for other leisure and useful shops that you can find nearby. As a Portuguese guy, this cold is really annoying but with my experiences here I can say that I am already used to it and I will miss Krakow a lot as my second best home ever.
