1st day of OW
A few hours ago, we started one of the craziest adventures which people can imagine. We call it – ORIENTATION WEEK! It is the special week which is organized for the special people – Erasmus students from Cracow University of Economics. Our students come from almost 30 countries, but just for this semester they will become a part of our society.
The first day of Orientation Week started very early by general meeting with Main Coordinator, Magdalena Krasowska. During this appointment all students received the most important information about our university and studying here. Moreover, we presented our organization – Erasmus Student Network, which will do everything to make this semester the most unforgettable as it is possible. As our motto says – “Students helping students”, so it is reason why we prepare so many amazing events for our Erasmus students.
General meeting
After all formal issues, there was a walk around university. In this way we would like to show our new friends where the most important buildings are and how not to get lose between them. However, everybody was exciting before the evening events.

We met to start our common adventure in Klub pod Jaszczurami. Our coordinators – Ania Czubernat and Areta Gorczakow organized the Welcome Tandem Meeting. There were many amazing attractions for our special guests during this event. The main aim was to get to know each other and practise other language. So let’s start…. SPEED DATING! We were divided for a few teams and we also received some questions which we had to ask our new friends. It was a great chance to find out how “na zdrowie” sounds in French, Czech or Finnish. We could discover which animal our interlocutors want to be and many, many others breaking-ice questions.

There was one more point of our evening – Beach Party in Diva Club. We had an opportunity to find in the tropical island, in the middle of the winter! When we entered the club, everyone received colourful flowers which helped us to feel the summer spirit. The first day of Orientation Week finished with rhythms of hypnotizing music. Nevertheless, we just need to start thinking about amazing events which are waiting for us during this crazy time.
